When she saw Vasanthi and Kannan on Facebook, Uma in New Delhi left a comment - 'First time seeing Vasanthi Chitthi in Salwar Kameez... and Chittappa is completely unrecognizable'. I thought she might want to see Vasanthi in quite another attire.
You get to see only her face, but the photo gives you an idea of how they all wore the saree, nine yards, for a special occasion. The photo, taken in Pollachi, dates back to early 90s.
